The Creativity World Forum comes to Belgium
The leading conference on Innovation
On November 5 and 6 Flanders DC, the Flemish organisation for entrepreneurial creativity, takes over Kortrijk and turns this Flemish city into the world's capital of creativity. Kortrijk is host to the Creativity World Forum, the leading conference on entrepreneurial creativity. The conference is the annual meeting of the Districts of Creativity (DC) Network and revisits Flanders every three year.
The Creativity World Forum is one of the world's biggest events on entrepreneurial creativity and the annual meeting of the Districts of Creativity. The network unites innovative and creative regions from around the world. It fosters the exchange of experiences in stimulating creativity and innovation in business and society, with a focus on cross-cultural collaboration.
With previous editions in Baltimore, Ghent, Qingdoa, Antwerp, Stuttgart, Oklahoma, Hasselt, Rio de Janeiro and Tampere, the event truly is a worldwide conference. The coming years the conference will travel to Karnataka and Central Denmark.
For this year's conference, organiser Flanders DC invited charismatic and inspiring speakers. Ex-Apple Chief Evangelist Guy Kawasaki, Ideo's Tom Kelley, star architect Zaha Hadid and musician/tech entrepreneur will.i.am, to name just a few, will all take the stage in Kortrijk.
Apart from the list of top-notch speakers, the Creativity World Forum offers in-depth networking and learning sessions (one on one or in small groups) with top CEO's and advisers. Above all, the conference offers a unique innovation experience: in the on-site Knowledge Market attendees can discover a fine selection of what innovative companies have to offer.
Last but not least, there is room for celebration. Networking receptions and an off programme in the city centre complete the inspiring 2-day conference.
Flanders DC expects around 2000 innovation enthusiasts at the Creativity World Forum. Previous Flemish editions were always sold out.
