Every year, the Henry van de Velde Awards honour products, projects, services and systems by designers and companies from Flanders that, thanks to thoughtful design, have a positive and remarkable impact on our economy, environment and society. A professional jury has now selected the winners of these most prestigious design awards in Belgium within eight different categories.
On November 16 and 17, the Maison de la Poste at Tour & Taxis Brussels is the place to be for design professionals and enthusiasts. FOR THE NOW will showcase a curated selection of emerging and more established Belgium-based designers across a variety of disciplines. Please pay attention: nobody of the winners, except the four main categories (Lifetime Achievement, Young Talent, Company & Ecodesign by OVAM Award), is aware of their prize.

In addition to the Brussels Design Market, the hall will also host FOR THE NOW (previously known as Contemporary Design Market) with a carefully curated selection of established and emerging Belgium based designers, working across various design disciplines and with a variety of mediums.
On Tuesday evening February 7th all winners of the Henry van de Velde Awards received their awards on stage in Bozar Brussels, Belgium. Besides the announcement of who won gold, silver and bronze within the 9 project categories, the winners of the 4 main prizes and the Public Award were also announced.
